Q&A

VLADIMIR AMPOV - GRAFA: What are your principles for good causes to stand behind?

We are a company with nearly 25 years of history. During all these years we have been allocating both funds and voluntary work together with my colleagues to help various causes. Good ideas connect us with foundations with a long history, excellent financial history and projects that we recognize as our own. The guiding principles in our work are "long-term partnership" and "sustainability over time". We work with the Blagotvoritel Foundation on the National Competition "Young Blagotvoritel" for students from 7th to 12th grade, who implement charitable projects and contribute to improving the environment in which they live, communicate and study. We are working with the same foundation on the scholarship program "Achieving Higher Success", which aims to stimulate the efforts and the pursuit of knowledge of  students deprived of parental care. We also have fruitful cooperation with the World of Mary Foundation, whose mission is to support the labor and social integration of people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities through individual and group activities, specialized training and appropriate employment. Every year, together with the foundation, we organize charity bazaars on the territory of our Eurohold HQ  which sell souvenirs and cakes made by the graduates of the foundation. With the St. Nicholas National Fund we work to support children deprived of parental care and accommodated in social service complexes throughout the country.

EMIL NESHEV: What is your attitude to the work of volunteers and what is your personal contribution to society?

In the last 10 years, as a result of climate change, there has been an increase in natural disasters both around the world and in Bulgaria. Thanks to social networks, groups are quickly formed in the regions, which share what help is needed. I am a volunteer myself - I plant trees in the "New Forest" in Sofia, every year I participate in the charity bazaar of the International Women's Diplomatic Club in Sofia, donate material and financial resources for various causes and take part in verious  initiatives not only as a volunteer but also as mentor and consultant.
