Euroins celebrated 25 years since its establishment at an anniversary event at the National History Museum in Sofia on June 28th, 2023. The event was attended by hundreds of guests, including business representatives, insurance brokers, customers, partners, and employees from the country and abroad.

The festive evening began with a speech by Asen Hristov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eurohold Bulgaria and one of the founders of Euroins. Eurohold is among the leading financial and energy groups in Central and South-Eastern Europe and is the owner of Euroins through its subsidiary Euroins Insurance Group (EIG). "Today is very important for us. For the past 25 years, all of us together managed to build a successful business in Bulgaria and 10 other countries in Europe. We are grateful to the millions of customers who have trusted us and to the thousands of partners and colleagues who continue to believe in us. This trust, including in challenging periods for us, is a high appreciation for the work and efforts we make, to meet their expectations. We are happy that today we are together with all colleagues, for whom Euroins is and will always be a symbol of high professionalism, integrity, and quality at European level", stated Asen Hristov.

Business and employer organizations sent congratulatory addresses for the anniversary of Euroins. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, through its Chairman Mr. Dobri Mitrev, specially congratulated the insurance company for its contribution in ensuring innovation, quality, and fair competition in the sector.

Euroins is the largest insurance company on the Bulgarian market for 2022 with a total premium income of over BGN 453 million (EUR 232 million), an increase of nearly one third compared to the previous year. Outside of Bulgaria, the company also develops activities in Greece, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Great Britain. In foreign markets, the company operates according to the European directive for freedom of establishment and freedom to provide services (Freedom of services). The Euroins portfolio includes over 70 products that cover 18 types of insurance.

"Our results for 2022 confirm that we have chosen the right strategy for the development of Euroins. The percentage of motor insurance in the company's portfolio is decreasing at the expense of other products with good growth prospects. Our aim is to achieve even greater diversification of the portfolio, while at the same time we will continue to actively offer motor insurance in certain categories that bring us good profitability and in which we have built stable positions. We plan to develop additional activity in foreign markets in certain segments in which we have strong competitive advantages. The digitalization of all processes and products is also our focus," commented Yoanna Tsoneva, executive director of Euroins.

Euroins is actively developing a program for corporate social responsibility, which includes projects and activities aimed at environmental protection, sport, education, culture, and social work at the regional, national, and European level.

Over the past twenty-five years, Euroins has won a number of awards, among the most significant of which are the "Most Dynamically Developing Insurance Company" award (in 2013 and 2017), a prize in the "Society Insurers" competition (2017 ) for its cause to provide funds for a summer rehabilitation camp for children deprived of parental care, as well as a "Company with Best Corporate Governance" award from the Investors Association (2007). The company has also won many awards for its corporate social responsibility, in which he cooperates with organizations supporting disadvantaged people and children deprived of parental care.
