'The Expert Talks' Series Ep. 1
News
In our first segment, we will introduce you to Biser Tsonev, Head of the 'Claims Management' Department, who will share essential tips for driving in winter conditions.
- Always drive with winter tires. At low temperatures, it is crucial that your tires are suitable for winter weather conditions. Use winter tires with appropriate tread for better traction on icy roads.
- Maintain distance. Increase the space between you and the vehicle in front. This will give you more time to react in case of unexpected situations.
- Avoid sudden braking. Abruptly applying the brakes can cause the car to skid. Instead, slow down by easing off the gas and downshifting to a lower gear.
- Check the levels of antifreeze and other fluids in your car. Ensure they are suitable for low temperatures to prevent freezing.
- Avoid wearing bulky winter jackets while driving. They restrict your movement and prevent the seatbelt from fitting snugly against your body.
We wish you to enjoy every journey and to remember both your safety and that of other road users!
