Mr. Avramov has over 30 years of professional experience in senior management positions in the field of insurance. He began his career at DZI - Vidin, where he was CEO for many years. Mr. Avramov is a long-term Chairman of the Management Board and Executive Director of HDI Insurance AD, part of the leading German insurance and reinsurance group TALANX in the period 2002-2015. He is Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of ZD Euroins AD in the period 2015-2020. For 10 years Mr. Avramov has been a long-term chairman of the Control Board of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ), as well as a member of the Management Board of the National Bureau of Bulgarian Motor Insurers (NBBAZ) in the period 2011 - 2018.

Currently, Mr. Avramov is Deputy. Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZD Euroins AD, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZD EIG Re AD and a member of the Management Board of the Guarantee Fund (GF). He is a longtime member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation (BSE), as well as Deputy. Chairman of the Arbitration Commission at the BSE for two consecutive terms. Mr. Avramov is the president of the oldest Rotary club in Bulgaria - Rotary Club Sofia.
