October 1st - The professional day of the Bulgarian Insurers

Today all insurers in Bulgaria celebrate their professional holiday for the 22nd  consecutive time! The date was declared a public holiday of the insurance companies in 1996 by a decision of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers and the Union of Private Insurers, and since then every October 1th is marked as Insurer's Day. On that day in 1891 in Rousse, the  First Bulgarian insurance company "Bulgaria" is established, which is considered the beginning of the Bulgarian insurance.
